A round stainless steel drain strainer with a raised, slotted dome and an insert base. Designed to help keep larger leaves and debris out of a compatible outdoor drain opening while allowing water through the slots.

Key Features

• Stainless steel construction with a silver finish.
• Raised dome with slots around the sides and top.
• Insert base with retaining tabs.
• Nine size options for different drain openings.

Important Note

This is a drain strainer, not a complete floor drain, water trap or sealed pipe fitting. It does not guarantee blockage prevention, pest exclusion or a particular drainage flow rate. Small debris can pass through the slots, and accumulated leaves can restrict water flow. Regular inspection and cleaning are required.

Specifications

• Material: Stainless steel; steel grade is not specified.
• Colour: Silver.
• Supplier-labelled sizes: 50, 63, 75, 83, 90, 110, 150, 160 and 200 mm.

Fit and Installation

Measure your drain opening and check the selected strainer's insert diameter, flange width and available clearance before ordering. The size label is not necessarily the strainer's measured outside diameter. For example, the supplier's 50 mm option diagram shows an approximately 44 mm insert diameter and 55 mm overall width.

Top shape and proportions vary by size. Images showing several strainers illustrate the range; multiple sizes are not included. Pipes and surrounding fittings shown in the images are not included.

Care

Remove collected debris and rinse the strainer regularly. Check that it remains securely fitted and that water can drain freely. Handle metal edges with care during fitting and cleaning.
